Impaired and Dangerous Driving
Part VIII.1 of the Criminal Code of Canada addresses offences relating to conveyances, including impaired driving, refusal to comply with lawful demands, and operating a conveyance while prohibited. These provisions apply to motor vehicles, vessels, aircraft, and railway equipment, and are supported by detailed investigative powers such as roadside screening and bodily sample demands.
